In the 1900s, much of downtown Delaware was occupied by grocery stores, hardware shops and also a Sears. Now, if anyone living in the area needs neccessities, they have to drive out of downtown.
In the early to mid 1900s, downtown Delaware was mostly occupied by dime stores and shops that sold home goods. Today, most of the occupancy is taken up by restaurants and other dining options.






Sandusky History


The building at the corner of North Sandusky and West Williams St. has been occupied by many business over the years. The consignment store Thrifty Chic currently holds the location.

Hamburger Inn, one of Sandusky's hot spots, has been in the same building since it opened in 1932.
